Racking everything

I had put my relay rack over the summer and slowly added parts to it. When I had to rewire the Cisco devices for study purposes or because I needed to change a computer out it was done with little regard to neatness (ie. sloppy is fast). I went from using the Costco special baker’s rack:

To a 7′ Chatsworth (that I got for free):
Initial Setup of my rack.

When I changed a few things around for study purposes or to upgrade something I never put the time into doing it right. A 2′ run usually ended up using a 20′ cable. I finally had some time now that I’m done with my CCNA to make things right and regroom every wire.

Eye Sore:
My rack when I didn’t have time to do the wiring right.

Eye Soothing:
A rack more properly groomed.

In the final image you’ll be able to see Dell PowerEdge that is now online and working
